TURNING TIDES
STUDIO SESSION & EXHIBITION
28 NOVEMBER - 04 DECEMBER 2025
A studio session and exhibition by myself, Patrick Will Baker, at The Fisherman's Hut Gallery, Dunwich, exploring the ephemeral nature of the East Anglian coastline and beauty of the natural world around us
28th Nov to 4th Dec, 2025
Open daily
The Fisherman's Hut Gallery is located at Dunwich Beach Car Park, next to the Flora Tea Rooms. Please note that the tea rooms are now closed for the winter season.
Parking is free, but please consider donating to local charities.
If you've not visited Dunwich before the car park is a great starting place for a number of circular walks...
Why not strut south along the beach to the Coastguard Cottages? Then either on, over Dunwich Heath to take in Westleton, or back along the clifftop via the ruins of Greyfriars Monastery. Please be aware that the tearooms are only open at the weekend, from 10am - 3pm
Or head north along the shingle bank to Walberswick with its selection of pubs , before heading back via Dingle Marsh. You can always extend your walk by taking the ferry or footbridge over to Southwold.
Either way, or if you don't want to head far, there are delicious meals, refreshing drinks and a warming fire at the atmospheric Ship Inn in Dunwich.
If you're visiting on the weekend be sure to visit the wonderful Dunwich Museum before leaving to fully appreciate the effects of the changing nature of the shifting coastline and discover the fascinating story of the Lost City of Dunwich. They are open weekends only, 2pm - 4pm.
I will be working at The Fisherman's Hut Gallery with a selection of original works on show, alongside giclée prints, cards and other gifts available to purchase
